Lacy Hart Stroup

Lacy Hart Stroup, age 86, of the Brian Center, and formerly of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020, in the David Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Jenkins officiating.
Mrs. Stroup was born October 11, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Summey and Callie Stroupe Hart. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Stroup; infant son, Summey Stroup; and siblings, Elvy Curts, Ruth Hart, Macy Hart, and Jeanette Gales. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Edward Stroup of Lincolnton; and siblings, Marian A. Hart of Dallas, Dollie Haney of Dallas, Royce D. Hart of Dallas, Doris Gates of Dallas, and Max R. Hart of Iron Station.
