Harold Hartman

Harold Hartman, age 90, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Laboratory Road, died on Monday, November 23, 2020.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, in the South River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. The body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Harold was born June 9, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late James Henry Hartman and Rose Smith Hartman. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Irene Black Hartman; and stepchildren, Glen Harrelson, Kenneth Harrelson, and Betty Huffstetler. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the military, he worked for Vermont American as a machinist.
He is survived by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
