Jerry Wayne Talbot
( August 16, 1936 - November 29, 2020 )
Jerry Wayne Talbot, 84, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away November 29, 2020 at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Born August 16, 1934 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Thelma Steiner Talbot and Roy Clifton Talbot. Jerry loved the Lord and his family, and was a member of Freedom Church in Lincolnton, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life wife Brenda Joyce Talbot, and sisters Alberta Miles and Charlene Rymond.
Jerry is survived by three sons, Jerry Talbot ll (and wife Claudia) of Lincolnton; Jeff Talbot (and wife Challe) of Boone, and Roy Talbot (and wife Traci) of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by grandsons Jerry Talbot III of Lincolnton, Jason Talbot (and wife Heather) of Sinclair, Maine, Shane Talbot (and wife Evie) of Lenoir, granddaughter Bella Talbot of Spartanburg, SC, and great grandchildren Nathaniel & Raelynn Talbot of Maine, and special friend Brenda Carnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be a private graveside service Tuesday December 1st at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Michael White of Freedom Church. A celebration of life for Jerry will be held later next year.
