Martha Jane Scronce Lingerfelt

Martha Jane Scronce Lingerfelt, age 85, of Ledford Road, Vale passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Macedonia Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Vale with Rev. Rick Haug officiating. Her body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home
Mrs. Lingerfelt was born on March 11, 1935 and was the daughter of the late George and Floy Rudisill Scronce. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raeford Lingerfelt. Mrs. Lingerfelt was retired from the textile industry.
She is survived by two daughters, Flora Jane Lingerfelt Travis of Vale and Debra Kay Lingerfelt Leatherman and husband, Arland Lee of Vale; one sister, Alice Duckworth of Vale; four grandchildren, Kristy Smith, Jason Leatherman, Amanda Payne and Angela Travis; seven great-grandchildren, Brianna Smith, Brooke Smith, Jada Travis, Gary Payne, Travis Parker, Ashley Arrowood and Grant Martin; four great-great-grandchildren, John Green, Jeremy Arrowood, Addlyin Arrowood and Alexander Payne.
