Lorene Virginia Shrum Schrum
( February 16, 1927 - December 26, 2020 )
Lorene Virginia Shrum Schrum, age 93, of Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Casey Smith officiating. Due to Covid-19, the family requests for all to please adhere to safety precautions.
Mrs. Schrum was born on February 16, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Garland K. and Cora Calloway Shrum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lewis Schrum, her daughter, Janice Darlene Schrum and her sister, Catherine Laney. Mrs. Schrum was retired from Burlington Mills.
She is survived by one son, E. Barry Schrum and wife, Sharon Bell of Sherrills Ford; one brother, Byron Shrum of Lincolnton and one sister, Bertie Ervin of Hickory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3413 East Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
