Wayne Mack George, age 64, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, January 1, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Crouse with Pastor Jerry Goodman officiating. His body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 pm on Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. George was born on March 10, 1956 in Lincoln County to the late Mack David and Sue Dellinger George. Mr. George worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife Renee Byers George of the home; two sons, Michael George and wife Angie and their son, Luke George of Lincolnton, Dennis George and wife Beth of Vale; one brother, Jeff George and wife Rhonda of Crouse; one sister, Tammy George of Crouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sons of Confederate Veterans, %Tim Willis, 802 Amity Church Road, Iron Station, NC 28080.
