Tony Russell Reep
( May 31, 1957 - January 2, 2021 )
Tony Russell Reep, age 63, of Moose Gantt Trail in Crouse, died on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in the Gainsville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Barry Devine officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Mr. Reep was born May 31, 1957, in Catawba County, to the late Harold Dean Reep and Peggy Howard Reep. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Reep Tucker. He worked at Marshall Steam Station - Duke Energy, as a control room operator.
He is survived by his wife, Renee’ Wilson Reep of the home; daughter, Misty Reep Jones of Newton; son, Tony Derick Reep of Crouse; daughter, Alyson McKensie Reep of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Ansley Jones, McKinley Jones, and Jaxxen Jones; two brothers, Joey Reep (Joy) of Maiden, and Marty Reep of Charlotte; in-laws, Joe and Doris Wilson of Iron Station.
Tony was a God-loving man, a member of Gainsville Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School superintendent. He was an avid history buff and passionate motorcycle rider.
