Anne Hales Spell
( February 23, 1943 - January 6, 2021 )
Anne Hales Spell, age 77, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 in the Holy Communion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Dallas with Pastor Mike Davis and Pastor Shea Berbaum officiating.
Mrs. Spell was born February 23, 1943, in Sampson County, to the late John Claude Hales and Mildred Anne Fisher Hales. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Morrison Spell. She worked as a real estate agent and was a member of the Gaston County Association of Realtors.
She is survived by two daughters, Melanie Self (Monty), and Claudia Spell, all of Dallas; two grandchildren, Ashley Fannin (Jeremy), and Ryan Self (Karly); and five great-grandchildren, Mason Fannin, Emma Fannin, William Fannin, Nolan Self and Abbey Self.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UNC Health Foundation Pediatric Oncology, 123 West Franklin Street, Suite 510, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the Brian Center of Lincolnton for the love and exceptional care she received during her time there.
