Obituaries

 Franklin “Frank” Gilbert, Jr., age 62, of Leonard’s Fork Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

“Frank” was born July 17, 1958, in Catawba County, to the late Franklin Edison Gilbert, Sr. and Gladys Causey Gilbert.  

He is survived by a daughter, Dakota Leigh Gilbert, and Andy, of Tennessee ; son, Caleb Gilbert, and Tasha, of Lincolnton; brother, Larry Gilbert of Lincolnton; three sisters, Jenny Bridges of Lincolnton, Debbie Gilbert of Lincolnton, and Barbara Rucker of Monroe; and two grandchildren, Bodhi Gilbert and Angel Varnadore.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask.
