Richard Arthur Seagle
( February 17, 1947 - January 27, 2021 )
Richard Arthur Seagle, age 73, of Teague Street in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, in the Cherryville City Cemetery with Rev. Matt Seagle officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Mr. Seagle was born February 17, 1947, in Lincoln County, to the late Junius A. Seagle and Gladys Marie Earle Seagle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Byers Seagle. Richard worked as a forklift operator for Bosch Manufacturing.
He is survived by a brother, Freddy Seagle of Lincolnton; four sisters, Nancy Schronce of Iron Station, Pat Hedspeth of Shelby, Debbie Haynes, and husband Gene of Newton-Conover, and Pam Gross, and husband Chris, of Crouse; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Linda Anzovina.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Gaston Hospice and Palliative Care for the care given to Richard.
