Rev. Allen Wayne Manns

Rev. Allen Wayne “Buddy” Manns, age 79, of Appletree Court in Vale, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, in the Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating.
Rev. Manns was born August 8, 1941, in Gaston County, to the late Edward Manns and Ruth Denton Moore. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda. He served in the United States Marine Corps, then devoted himself as a Pastor.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ann Stamey Manns of the home; two daughters, Dana Huss (Mike) of Greensboro, and Kellie Hawkins (Michael Barlowe) of Lincolnton; son, Allen Manns (Jackie) of Stanley; and one grandchild, Dakota Manns.
Memorials may be made to Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church, 1462 Leonard’s Fork Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
