Horace Alonzo Church, Jr.

Horace Alonzo Church, Jr., age 62, of 545 Calvary Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Rhodes officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
Mr. Church was born July 5, 1958, to the late Horace Alonzo Church, Sr. and Clara Jane Rhodes Causby. He worked for ten years as a welder at Freightliner, and for twenty-four years at Ethan Allen. He loved fishing, working, and woodcrafting.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Lynn Reeves Church of the home; his children, Jason Church (Katie), and Joshua Church, all of Lincolnton, Sara Lewis of Iron Station, April Arnold (Matthew) of Georgia, and Billy Lewis (Amanda) of Georgia; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
