Camilla Nidiffer Stroupe

Camilla Nidiffer Stroupe, age 55, of Highway 73 in Iron Station, died on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Sunset Road Baptist Church of Charlotte, 2317 Sunset Road, Charlotte, NC, with Pastor Chris Haywood officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Camilla was born October 17, 1965, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Bobby Gene Nidiffer and Judy Elaine Winters Nidiffer. Her adopted parents include her mother, Goldie Jones of Tennessee, and her father, the late Millard Jones. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jimmie Stroupe.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Stroupe of the home; sons, Zachary Stroupe (Emily), and Nicholas Stroupe (Mackenzie), all of Rowan County; grandson, Paxton Stroupe; three sisters, Patsy Jones Haywood of Iron Station, Janice Jones Horne (Steve) of Harrisburg, and Sharon Ellis (Michael) of Charlotte; mother-in-law, Jean Stroupe; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends who loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the The Lupus Foundation of America, Piedmont Chapter, Inc., 2820 Selwyn Avenue, Suite 701, Charlotte, NC 28209, or to Levine Children’s Hospital, PO Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232-2861.
