Christie Leigh Payne Huffstetler

Christie Leigh Payne Huffstetler, along with her infant daughter, Sadie Leigh Huffstetler, of 144 New Ground Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in the Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Fain Famer officiating. The body will lie in state on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register. The family will not be present during this time
Christie was born November 5, 1985, in Prince William County, Virginia, to John and Christine Dove Payne. Her paternal grandfather, John Payne, preceded her in death. She worked for the Town of Dallas Public Works, Water and Electric.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Joe Huffstetler, Jr. of the home; parents, John and Christine Payne of Vale; sister, Casey Payne Hylton (Danny) of Lincolnton; paternal grandmother, Juanita Payne of Culpepper, VA; maternal grandparents, Fred and Mary Dove of Manassas, VA; nephews, Mason and Canaan Hylton; niece, Emerson Hylton; father-in-law, Johnny Joe Huffstetler, Sr. of Lincolnton; grandparents-in-law, John and Sandra Huffstetler of Lincolnton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church, Vacation Bible School fund, 3051 Gaston Webbs Chapel Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
