Joseph “Joey” Lee Day, age 64, of Randleman Road in Iron Station, died on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in the Sharon Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. David Walker officiating.
“Joey” was born October 5, 1956, in Gaston County, to the late Lewis and Louise DeHart Day. He worked in sales for Ferguson Box in Charlotte, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Armstrong Day of the home; a son, Tyler Day, and fiancé Victoria, of Mount Holly; a daughter, Kendra Jackson, and husband Jerrod, of Iron Station; and a granddaughter, Noelle Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, PO Box 563, Iron Station, NC 28080; or Hospice and Palliative of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
