Barbara Freeman Christopher

Barbara Freeman Christopher, age 85, of Buffalo Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Harley Scalf and Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Christopher was born July 24, 1935, in Lincoln County to the late Marvin Belton Freeman and Lucy Ann Abernethy Freeman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard William Christopher; and brothers, Rev. Everett Freeman, Harold Freeman, and Paul Freeman. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Christopher of Lincolnton; grandson, Daniel Payseur, and girlfriend Nancy, of Lincolnton; and sister in law, Nancy Freeman of Lincolnton.
