Jon Daniel Gross, age 30, of 495 Southside Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Laboratory Mill, 848 Southfork Road in Lincolnton, with Pastor Tommy Wright officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Jon was born May 25, 1990, in Rochester, New York, to Daniel Gross and Lori Wallace. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Marilyn Wallace and Bob and Anne Gross, and aunt, Jo-Anne Stuver. He worked as an electrician.
He is survived by a daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Cornelius of Phelps, NY; mother, Lori Wallace (Michael Branson) of the home; father, Daniel Gross of Spencerport, NY; brother, Jeffrey Coe of Lincolnton; three sisters, Jen Boni, and her children, Lyra and Luca Boni of Canandaigua, NY; Jaclyn Lail (Caleb) and their children, Sophia and Everly Lail, of Lincolnton; and Michaela Dupre and her son Jack of Newark, NY; aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Michael Hoffman of Lincolnton, Donna Wallace of Lincolnton, Sandra Stringer of Webster, NY, David Wallace of Macedon, NY, Greg Wendt of Elizabethton, KY, Bobby and Nancy Gross of Greece, NY, James and Fran Wallace of Roseville, CA, and Laurie and Patrick O’Shaughnessy of Fairport, NY; and numerous cousins.
