Dewayne George Moffat, Jr., age 82, of Triangle Circle, Denver passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. His body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Moffat was born on April 23, 1938 in Allegheny County, PA and was the son of the late Dewayne George Moffat, Sr. and Elizabeth Popp Moffat. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Carrie Sue Moffat, Nancy Dennis and his brother, Homer Moffat. He worked as a contractor.
Mr. Moffat is survived by his wife, Darlene Bard Moffat of the home; one son, Dewayne William Moffat of Huntersville; two daughters, Pamela Lee Lodial of Hickory and Kimberly Ann Reeves and husband, Mark of Lawndale; five sisters, Deanna Sharr of Mt. Holly, Joyce Kelly of Lincolnton, Marion Smith of Boise, ID, Kathey Bazala and husband, Joe of Lincolnton and Hope Jamerson and husband, Rick of Charlotte; two brothers, Glenn Moffat and wife, Mable of Lincolnton and Ricky Moffat of Mt. Holly.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
