Rev. Robert Lewis Wiggins, Sr.

Rev. Robert Lewis Wiggins, Sr., age 86, of 1941 Waterfalls Drive in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Dan Stephens and Rev. Brandon Stephens officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Rev. Wiggins was born May 20, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Robert “Eddie” Wiggins and Daisy Worley Wiggins Hooks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Ann Grigg Wiggins, and a son, Robert Louis Wiggins, Jr. He was an ordained Bishop in the Church of God for 63 years. He preached over 7000 sermons in his many years of ministry. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and faithful servant of God.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Marie Cline Wiggins of the home; daughter, Cynthia Denise Wiggins Stephens (Rev. Danny Eugene Stephens) of Lowell; grandsons, Travis B. Stephens, Jonathan E. Wiggins, Rev. Brandon L. Stephens (Christy), David A. Wiggins, and Daniel Patrick Stephens; great-grandchildren, Phoebe Stephens, Zach Stephens, Haley Wiggins, Ryan Wiggins, Deanna Wiggins, Lucy Stephens, Jackson Stephens, and Benjamin Stephens; and two step-sons, Larry Cline, Jr., and Erick Cline.
