Mable Black Shrum

Mable Black Shrum, age 89, of 1973 Buffalo Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, May 3, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Houser officiating. The body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
Mrs. Shrum was born June 8, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late Judson and Eliza White Black. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Shrum. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Kenny Shrum of Denver; daughter, Sylvia Ruff of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Klay Shrum, and wife Katie, Tim Brooks and Heath Brooks; three great-grandchildren, Karson Shrum, Wesley Brooks, and Amanda Brooks; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ellie Brooks and Jackson Brooks.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
