Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker, age 86, of Polo Trail in Lincolnton, went to be with his Lord while rabbit hunting on Friday, May 7, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Oscar Montes officiating. The family will receive friends at their home following the graveside service.
Lewis was born November 13, 1934, to the late Willie and Jessie Cross Baker. He served in the United States Army and later worked as a mechanic for Talon, Incorporated. He was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a true believer and follower of his Lord Jesus Christ, and a fine example of an exemplary man.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Faye Jones Baker of the home; son, Eddie Baker, and wife Belinda, of Vale; three daughters, Cindy Mosteller, and husband Rob, of Lincolnton, Lisa Lane, and husband Zeb, of Casar, and Kimberly Bisbee, and husband Justin, of Vale; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
