James Edward Bryson, age 55, of 190 Wright Street in Gastonia, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Woody officiating.
James was born August 5, 1965, in Gaston County, to Glenda Morgan Rose and the late Jack Bryson. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Bryson. He worked as an automotive technician.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Rhonda Bridges of the home; children, Selina Bryson Worthy of Hudson, Jonathan Edward Stephens of Franklin, Tashia LeAnn Barron of Charlotte, Christopher Scott Medford of Cherryville; mother, Glenda Rose of Lincolnton; sisters, Teresa Toler, Brenda Bryson Little, Lynette Bryson, and Melissa Bryson MacMann; brothers, Jack “George” Bryson, Travis Lee Rose, and Troy Irvan Rose; and seven grandchildren, Elijah Smith, Jasmine Smith, Nevaeh Shelton, Kyson Barron, Caiden Worthy, Gabriel LaPatra, and Peyton Worthy.
