Lawrence David Henley

Lawrence David Henley, age 79, of 309 Palisades Drive in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, May 30, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Larry Little. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Mr. Henley was born June 12, 1941, in Gaston County, to the late Marvin Richard Henley and Hazeline Bradshaw Henley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Henley Ballard; brothers, Richard Henley (Eleanor) and Donald Lee Henley; and nephews, Rodney Ballard, Steve Ballard, and Anthony Ballard. He worked as an auditor for The Hartford Insurance Company.
He is survived by a brother, Johnny Henley (Frances) of Lincolnton; niece, Jennifer Henley Sain (Cale) of Lincolnton; nephews, Mike Henley of Iron Station, Rick Henley (Kim) of Crouse, Tommy Ballard (Susan) of Charlotte, and Janet Ballard of Harrisburg; and brother-in-law, Darrell Ballard of Kannapolis.
