Warner Michael "Mike" Vernon

Warner Michael “Mike” Vernon, age 63, of 3807 Springhill Trail in Lincolnton, died on Monday, June 7, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Shay Houser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Mike was born January 7, 1958, in Alamance County, to Grace Webster Vernon and the late Warner Scott Vernon. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Adair. He worked as a truck driver for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Trammell Vernon of the home; his mother, Grace Vernon; daughters, Carla Woodruff (Greg), and Brandi Hall (Rex) all of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Allissa Cantrell, Christian Woodruff, Houston Hall, and Colby Lowe; four great-grandchildren; brother, Randy Vernon (Jamie) of Lincolnton; sisters, Karen Atkins (Charlie) of Kings Mountain, and Lynne Mullineaux of Morehead City; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
