Doris Caleen Dorsey Hawkins

Doris Caleen Dorsey Hawkins, age 86, of the Heath House in Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

She was born August 13, 1934 in Gaston County, to the late Chrisley Dorsey and Alma Tutherow Dorsey. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by husband; Walter Jackson Hawkins, son; Barry Wayne Hawkins; daughter, Tammie Diane Hawkins; sisters, Louise Henderson, Geneva Ramsey, June Leonhardt, Alberta Taylor, Edna Joyce Dorsey; brother, James Dorsey.

Her Funeral Service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bobby Farmer officiating. Burial will be private for family. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Hawkins is survived by sons; Walter Hawkins Jr. and wife Pam of Tennessee. Jessie Lee Hawkins and wife Robin of Crouse; daughters, Teresa Link and husband Ricky of Lincolnton, Lisa Greene and husband Barry of Lenoir; brothers, Bill Dorsey and wife Gay of Vale, Chrisley Dorsey Jr. and wife Joyce of Cherryville; sisters, Shelby Ellis of Lenoir, Rosielee Shuford and husband Wayne of Asheville, Mary Smith and husband Claude of Rocky Mt; 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren.
