Shawn Weston Pressley

Shawn Weston Pressley, age 56, of Tait Street in Lincolnton, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 10, 2021, after a long battle with leukemia and lymphoma.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Boger City Wesleyan Church, 2803 Highway 27, East, in Lincolnton, with Pastor Jim Schall officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Shawn was born on May 4, 1965, in San Diego, California, to Peggy Heffner Pressley and the late Weston Lee Pressley. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Lee Pressley. Shawn loved his job as a marketing manager for Salice America. He was an avid sportsman who loved being in the great outdoors. He adored his children and was a loving son and a loyal friend to many. He always went above and beyond what was expected of him in his work and especially when it came to his children. They were his world.
He is survived by a daughter, Olivia Marie Pressley of Iron Station; two sons, Jacob Shawn Pressley of Lincolnton and William Kerry Pressley of Iron Station; his mother, Peggy Heffner Pressley of Iron Station; and a nephew, Joshua Shane Pressley of Boone.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
