Betty Sue Huffstetler Davis

Betty Sue Huffstetler Davis, age 92, of Lightview Lane in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Unity Baptist Church in Crouse with Rev. Matt Mundy and Rev. Timothy Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia. The family will receive friends 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Davis was born July 10, 1929, in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Alden Price Huffstetler and Catherine Abernathy Huffstetler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Fred Davis; son, Bobby Fred Davis, Jr.; daughter, Kaye Davis Langlois; two sisters, Louise Bumgardner and Catherine Lowery; and brother, Alden Huffstetler, Jr. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Davis (Barbara) of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sue Ward (John) of Clinton, and Robin Mosteller (Max) of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Bradley Walker, Shanda Walker Layman (Jason), Lynn Cook, Eron Stowe (Damon), Emily Anthony (Michael), Krista Eurey (Matthew), and Lauren Sutton (Travis); fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
