Lou Ella Cloninger

Mrs. Lou Ella Cloninger, age 75, of Jerry Crump Road in Lincolnton, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 24, 2021.
A graveside service for Lou, family, and anybody that feels they need to attend will be held at 6:00 pm (after work, come as you are) Friday, August 6, 2021, in Holy Communion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Dallas NC with Rev. Michael Collins officiating.
Lou's unconditional love of her family made her a loving wife and mother, and a warm, patient, and understanding listener with a forgiving heart. She will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Lincoln County whose presence increased the quality of her life and helped in every step on the path to the end for the family. Please send to 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Truman Cloninger, two daughters: Dr. Janna Marie Civils of Greensboro, Leslie Erin Cloninger of Chapel Hill, and two grandchildren.
