Jack Reinhardt McCorkle, Jr., age 90 of Newton, NC died Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the Brian Center, Lincolnton.
A private memorial service will be held with Rev. Don Sigmon and Rev. Butch Ross officiating.
Jack was born May 2, 1931, in Gaston County, to the late Jack Reinhardt McCorkle, Sr. and Louise Stephens McCorkle. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Dennis McCorkle, and wife Paula, of Lincolnton; daughters, Libby Goins, and husband Allen, of Newton, and Jacquelyn Dellinger, and husband Mike, of Lincolnton; a brother, Jerry McCorkle of Valdese; and numerous grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 725 E. 11th Street, Newton, NC 28658.
