Barbara Carpenter Seagle

Barbara Carpenter Seagle, age 80 of West Park Drive in Lincolnton passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at her home.
Mrs. Seagle was born December 31, 1940 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late James Carpenter and Katherine Mauney Carpenter. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arthur Cleveland Seagle. Barbara was a retired teacher in the Lincoln County school system. She was a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Hollybrook Cemetery. Rev. Mike Devine will officiate.
She is survived by daughter, Robin Seagle Todd and her husband Craig and daughter Sherry Seagle Caldwell; granddaughter, Maddie Caldwell Eaker and her husband Daniel all of Lincolnton; sister Terry Carpenter Freeman of Lincolnton; niece, Jamie Freeman Vernon and husband Randy and their daughters, Haley and Holly Vernon; many extended family members throughout Lincoln County; and her faithful fur baby Ellie.
