Mary Ruth Hubbard Schronce

Mary Ruth Hubbard Schronce, age 78, of Asbury Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schronce was born October 15, 1942, in Swain County, to the late William Frank Hubbard and Flora Irene Lakey Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Schronce. Mary worked in customer service for Ethan Allen.
She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Pope of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughter, Charlee Pope; a sister, Faye Louise Hubbard Carpenter, and husband Terry Eugene Carpenter, of Lincolnton; nieces, Michele Carpenter Vido of Mt. Holly, Monique Carpenter of Roanoke, VA, Monica Carpenter Moore of Lincolnton; and nephew, Terry Carpenter, Jr. of Lincolnton.
Memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association, 222 S. Church Street, Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202.
