Jimmy Wayne Beard

Jimmy Wayne Beard, age 67, of Lincolnton, died on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
A private service will be held for family and close friends. A guest registry will be set up at the funeral home. At all other times, the family will be at the home.
Mr. Beard was born August 24, 1953, in Lincoln County, to the late James McSwain Beard and Dorothy Goins Beard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Beard Canipe, and his special furbaby, Gracie.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Lackey Beard of the home; son, Brian Beard (April) of Lincolnton; daughter, Casey Auton (Chip) of Crouse; four grandchildren, Caleb Beard, Easton Beard, Cayleigh Auton, and Cambrey Auton; brother-in-law, Dennis Canipe of Lincolnton; numerous aunts, nieces, and a nephew.
Jim was an avid fisherman, loved music, and working outside. Most of all, he loved his family and being a papaw and pop. His main priority was taking care of the love of his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and special group of friends.
