Judy Lynn Helms Reese, age 55, of Blandwood Lane in Maiden, died on Monday, August 23, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, in the East Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Judy was born August 10, 1966, in Iredell County, to Celeste McConnell Helms and the late Joe Ben Helms. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edward G. Reese, II, of the home; son, Matthew Reese of Lincolnton; daughter, Heather Wilson (Tim) of Catawba; mother, Celeste M. Helms of Lincolnton; three brothers, Richard Helms (Sheila) of Crouse, Timothy Helms of Maiden, and Joel Helms (Cindy) of Lincolnton; three sisters, Sandy H. Combes of Maiden, Barbara H. Warren (Kelly) of Statesville, and Penny H. Hedrick (Russell) of Denver; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
