Iris Nadine Conner

Iris Nadine Conner, age 82, of Bessemer City, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord with Rev. Harvey Gates officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
Miss Conner was born March 18, 1939 in Cabarrus County to the late Russell Johnson and Ada Thomas Barker Conner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold B. Conner; a sister, Avis Ann Conner Cline Atkinson, and a half-sister, Laura Mae Bowen. Miss Conner worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, #999, Charlotte, NC 28215-3220.
