Nancy Simmons Killian

Nancy Simmons Killian, age 89 of Denver, N.C. passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denver Community Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Autrey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Mrs. Killian was born on July 10, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Hubert and Edith Yoder Simmons. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, E.F. Killian, Jr. and her sister, Juanita Martin. She was retired from First Union National Bank after 30 years as the head of the recovery department in Charlotte N.C.
Mrs. Killian is survived by her son, Timothy “Tim” S. Killian and wife, Jo of Denver; her grandson, Scott Killian and wife, Leslie of Iron Station; her granddaughter, Carri Killian of Denver and four great-grandchildren, Conley Killian, Hattie Killian, River Reel and August Reel.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092 or to the Wexford House, 3900 Wexford Lane, Denver, NC 28037.
