Joseph Oswald Bone

Mr. Joseph Oswald Bone, age 97, of Poarch Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 pm on Tuesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Bone was born January 22, 1924, in Gaston County, to the late Joseph Oran and Ethel McDonald Bone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Poarch Bone; one daughter, JoAnn Mason; two brothers, Donald Bone and Willard Bone and three sisters, Virl Bone, Betty Bishop and Carole Bone. Mr. Bone was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was retired from textiles.
He is survived by his grandson Andy Bone and wife Shawna and their daughter Brooke Bone of the home; a son, Jerry Bone and wife Sue of Denver; one brother, Thomas Bone and wife Donna of Sherrills Ford; one sister, Mazie Allen of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Marsha Bone and April Bone; two great grandchildren, Andi Bone Robinson and husband Trevor and Cole Moffitt; one great-great grandchild, Beckam Reid Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews.
