Jerry Wayne Falls, age 75 of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021
Jerry was born March 23, 1946 in Gastonia, to the late Vance and Pearl Falls. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Hall. He graduated from Ashley High School in 1964, and soon after he joined the US Air Force, where he proudly served his country for 4 years, which included a tour in Vietnam.
Jerry was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he loved going on fishing trips with family and friends. He spent 25 years working in management for Little Caesar's Pizza. His sense of humor was wonderful and he could make anyone smile.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Falls of Lincolnton, NC; daughters Brandy Winstead of Champaign, IL and April Mumpower of Lincolnton, NC. He was the proud PawPaw of Christopher Winstead and Kaya Winstead of Champaign, IL; and Donivan Hamrick of Myrtle Beach, SC; and one great-granddaughter, Holly Winstead of Champaign, IL; three sisters, Kelly Gardner and husband Gil of Cherryville, Loretta Saunders of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Elhawa of Germantown, MD; one brother, Kenneth Falls of Gastonia.
