Barbara Smith Lail

Barbara Smith Lail, age 69, of Lincolnton, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Devine officiating. Burial will follow in the First Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lail was born March 30, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late Nellie Mae Queen Smith and Charles Tomp Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by seven brothers.
Barbara was very well loved by all her family, including many nieces, nephews, and her two sisters-in-law, Pat Keener and Linda Gladden. Barbara will be sorely missed by all those that loved her.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband James H. Lail of 53 years; daughter, Michelle L. Ingle and son-in-law Kevin W. Ingle; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Noah and MacKenzie; and her sister, Cindy McClure.
