Dennis Devery McCaslin, age 66, of 1981 Knolls Drive in Newton, died on Thursday, October 21 2021.
His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Dennis was born November 19, 1955, in Catawba County, to the late John Smith McCaslin and Peggy Louise Bolick McCaslin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Scott McCaslin; and son, Daniel Lee McCaslin. He worked as a plant manager for Pilot Furniture.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lamberth McCaslin of the home; sister, Dawn Powell (Bill) of Newton; nephew, Will Powell of Newton; daughters, Brandy McCasland (Mitch), and Kayla Arwood, all of Maiden; grandson, Finnley McCasland of Maiden; sister-in-law, Sylvia McCaslin of Maiden; nephew, Derek Angel; great-nephew, Cain Parker; and three great-nieces, Faye, Maive, and Jayne Angel.
