Linda Ann Mauney Jetton
( February 8, 1951 - November 7, 2021 )
Linda Jetton, 70, of Lincolnton, passed away on November, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.
Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Hollybrook Cemetery. Receiving of friends will be at Covenant Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Devine and Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating.
Linda was born February 8, 1951, in Vale, North Carolina, to Burhl and Franklin Mauney. After graduating from West Lincoln High School in 1969, she married Roby Jetton on June 10, 1977, in South Carolina. Linda’s love of animals prompted her to learn to groom dogs and open her shop, the Clipper Den, the business she loved and owned for more than 35 years.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Burhl and Frank Mauney.
She is survived by Roby Jetton, her husband of 44 years; daughter, Kathy Jetton and her husband Joe Walthall; brother, Kevin Mauney; sister, Robin Bridges; her precious grandbabies, Joseph (10) and Jameson (4) Walthall who she loved dearly and never missed a chance to spoil; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
