William Brian Powell, age 57, of 2557 Old Pond Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 6, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Powell was born April 13, 1964, in Gaston County, to William Aussie Powell and the late Shirley Orgeron Powell. He worked as a foreman for Recore Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Matrone Powell of the home; son, Nathan Powell of Fayetteville; daughter, Hannah Powell of Lincolnton; father, William A. Powell (Lavonne) of Shelby; three grandchildren, Isabella Monson (Scott Monson), Autumn Powell, and Shawn Shearer; and aunts, Alene Gilbert (Jimmy) of Vale and Vicky Orgeron of Iron Station.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
