Steve Marshall Dellinger

Steve Marshall Dellinger, age 81, of Janice Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Redding officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register. The family will not be present during this time.
Steve was born September 4, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Archie Lee Dellinger and Ruth Stafford Dellinger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Gene Dellinger and Fred Dellinger; and sisters, Blanche Pool and Donna Spargo. He worked as a brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Barnett Dellinger of the home; Steve’s son Mike S. Dellinger, and wife Traci, and their son Austin, and daughter, Whitney Goins Snyder; Becky’s children, Renee Taylor of New Mexico, and Michael Chad Taylor of Detroit, MI; brothers, Doug Dellinger of Dallas, and Roy Dellinger of Lincolnton; sisters, Ethelene Dellinger Leatherman, Coleen Parmer, and Sue Peeler, all of Lincolnton, and Kay Allen of Harrisburg, NC.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Gaston County, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
