Josephine Lawing Johnson

Josephine Lawing Johnson, age 90 of the Wexford House in Denver, died on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born September 1, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late Roy Lawing and Berlie Caldwell Lawing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Johnson; and a sister, Christine Barker. She retired from La-Z-Boy.
She is survived by a son, Donald Johnson (Robin) of Dallas; sister, Raynell Rumfelt of Lincolnton; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
