Viola Jane Roberts Bishop, age 70, of 816 Mace Lane in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Blankenship officiating
Jane was born September 25, 1951, in Ballard, West Virginia, to the late Damon McKinley Roberts and Clara Margaret Bailey Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Marty Bishop; brothers, Freeman Roberts and Mose Roberts; and sister, Mary Clay. She worked for American Woodmark.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Ira Bishop of the home; children, Kent Bishop (Sandra) of Gastonia, Angel Bishop of Lincolnton, Tony Bishop of Nevada; granddaughters, Kaytelyn Bishop (Kacey) of Lincolnton, Sarah Bishop of Crouse, and Ashley Flowers of Lincolnton; grandsons, Wesley Bishop (Grace) of Lincolnton, and Thomas Bishop of Crouse; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Alice Christian, Amelia Jane Bishop and Sailor Abele; brother, Skeets Roberts of Ballard, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kent Bishop @$stubby1970
