Auretta Jean Peeler Hudson

Auretta “Jean” Peeler Hudson, age 91, of Horseshoe Lake Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Church of Our Saviour, Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 pm on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hudson was born May 1, 1930 in Lincoln County to the late George and Emma White Peeler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Amos Hudson, two brothers, Weldon Peeler, George “Bub” Peeler and five sisters, Bertha Sipe, Edna Grant, Barbara Armstrong, Mureil Peeler and Sybil Fredell. Mrs. Hudson was retired from textiles.
She is survived by two sons, David Hudson and wife Connie of Hickory, Larry Hudson and wife Beatrice of Lincolnton; three daughters, Cathy Queen of Lincolnton, Thelma Isenhour and husband Tony of Lincolnton, Teresa Hudson of Lincolnton; one sister, Frankie Goins of Lincolnton; twelve grandchildren, Angela Isenhour, Dwight Isenhour, Wyatt Isenhour and wife Angela, Amy Hudson, Samuel Hudson, Joseph Hudson and wife Patricia, Jacob Hudson, Erin Hudson, Neal Queen, Larry Hudson, II and wife Jessica, Lisa Shultz and husband Jay, Donnie Hudson and wife Amy; twenty-four great grandchildren, Harley Bowles and husband Spencer, Amber Jones, Cherish Queen, Avia Queen, Holden Queen, Poppy Hudson, Carlisle Hudson, Logan Hudson, Brianna, Nicholas Hudson, CeeCee, Audrey, Evelyn, Josh Shultz, Trey Shultz, Alissa Puig, Glenda Hudson and Michelle Hudson, Levi, Lana and Zackary Isenhour; and eight great-great grandchildren.
