Brice Rhyne Whitesides

Brice Rhyne Whitesides, age 93, of Iron Station, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wise officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitesides was born May 1, 1928, in Gaston County, to the late Ivery H. Rhyne and Macie Sigmon Rhyne. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Whitesides; daughter, Carol Stallings; brother, Herbert Rhyne; and sister, Mary Alice Whitesides. Brice was a member of Boger City Baptist Church for over 50 years. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by grandchildren, Todd Stallings (Lori), and Terri Manley (Brad Bolick); great-grandchildren, Haley Furr (Jeremy Dishmond) and Summer McAbee (Michael); and great-great-grandchildren, Rylie Furr, Peyton Furr, Michael McAbee, III, Elijah McAbee, and Easton McAbee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
