Stanley 'Gary' Summerour

Stanley “Gary” Summerour, age 77, of the Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Daniels Lutheran Church with Pastor John Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:15 a.m. on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Summerour was born September 20, 1944, in McAdenville to the late John Henry Summerour and Claris Kerns Summerour. He worked as a project manager for Sargent & Lundy Engineering.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria L. Summerour of the home; sons, Chris Summerour (Kelly) of Mt. Holly, and Scott Summerour (Renee) of Mokena, IL; four grandchildren, Braeden and Larkin Summerour, Ashley Summerour, and Kelsey Kennedy; brother, Paul Summerour of Panama City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, or to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
