Patricia Keever Houser
( June 8, 1946 - February 6, 2022 )
Patricia Keever Houser, known as Pat, age 75, of 135 McMillian Heights Road in Iron Station, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022, after a brief illness.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Devine officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethphage Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Pat was born June 8, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late John Franklin Keever and Bessie Johnson Keever. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers Bill Keever, Carroll Keever, and David Keever; and sisters Alma Robinson, Natha Lee Meeks, and Betty Brandenburg.
Pat married Jim Houser December 20, 1969. After retiring from General Shoelace Company, she became a grandmother and devoted her time to help raise her grandson. Pat always devoted her life to her whole family. She was the central figure in each of their lives. The woman who brought so much happiness and love to their lives will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Houser; son, Jamie Houser; daughter, Susan Houser; and grandson, Gavin Houser; brothers Larry Keever (Ann), and Jerry Keever, all of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NC, 933 Louise Avenue, Suite 101B, Charlotte, NC 28204.
