Ronald Hugh Goodson

Ronald Hugh Goodson, age 77, of Pine Avenue in Cherryville, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Ronald was born October 11, 1944, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Carl and Ruby Hardy Goodson. He was also preceded by his wife Patricia Parsons Goodson; brother Nathan Goodson; and sister Janice Peckenpaugh. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and on returning home, worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Davis (David) of Dry Fork, VA, Rhonda Henderson (Warren) of Blacksburg, SC, and Lycrecia Caskey (Scott) of Iron Station; brother, Steve Goodson (Delores) of Sumter, SC; sister, Carolyn Parsons of Sumter, SC; seven grandchildren, Bradley Davis, Jeffrey Davis, Wendy Henderson, Heather Henderson, Brittany Henderson, Elijah Henderson, and Jeremiah Henderson; and eleven great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at the present time.
