Lewis Jerry Cline

Lewis Jerry Cline, age 82, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at South River Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Chapman and Pastor David Mays officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:15 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Jerry was born December 25, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Gordon and Josie Long Cline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by three brothers, Terry, Donnie,David and his son-in-law, Nathan Setzer. He was the owner of Jerry’s One Stop where he devoted 29 years of his life.
Left to survive him are his wife, Judy Carpenter Cline of the home; daughters, Angie Cline Setzer and Terry Mays (David); sons, Tim Goins, Mark Goins (Cynthia), and Matthew Goins (Kellie); sister, Mary Ann Hoyle(Tom) of Vale; brother, Joe Cline of Mt. Holly; grandchildren, Colby Setzer (Christen), Cori Hovis (Michael), Joshua Mays, Whitney Snyder (Kyle), MacKenzie Polk (Zach), and Eli Goins; and great-grandchildren, Chandler, Carleigh, Stella, Scarlett, and Sutton.
Memorials may be made to South River Baptist Church, 2036 Southside Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
